It IS a real school …
It IS a real school, and I know real people there that have graduated with real degrees, and guess what?They’ve gotten REAL JOBS. It’s not a sham, and I busted my to get my portfolio good enough for the animation program (which is the hardest program to get into at Ai). Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s also specialized and more in depth than you’d get at a typical college. You don’t have semester after semester of pre-req’s.You get to dive into the good stuff early on, and I’m enjoying it!!

The Art Institutes …
The Art Institutes are a For Profit school system. They are overpriced and anyone can get accepted all you need is loan money and a high school diploma. You do not need a portfolio. The credits do not transfer because it is not a real school.

Ok people, no need …
Ok people, no need to knock the excited people down! I’ve gotten accepted into Ai for the animation/game design program in Houston, and I think it’s a huge step. There’s always going to be people that didn’t get what they wanted out of school, and that can’t always be helped. Just have to bust your butt, do your best, love what you do, and not sell yourself short! They can’t hand everything to you on a platter, their job is to point you in the right direction. Its up to you to make the move
