Seminar on Animation |
The seminar that I conducted for Mahindra College of Engineering, Salem, on 24th July 2009 in response to their invitation, was a resounding success. It helped the students to understand the nuances of animation techniques and technology. It also served to inspire them for a career in animation.
After interacting with the students in depth, I found a lot of creativity in them awaiting the right channels for expression. Given the proper guidance and training, this fresh group of talented individuals can be groomed for a successful career in animation that can attract many international and national industries.
I was born and parented in Chennai Santhome, a place celebrated world over as the Detroit of Asia. My father, an illustrious artist had designed many commendable Indian Postal Stamps and logos for companies of national repute like Nirma, Pilot Pen to name a few. Little did I know then, that his passion for art was infectious and I will be its immediate victim and inspire me to become a full-fledged Animator. His care and guidance fetched me many rewards in art competitions held in various Schools and Colleges.
Today my efforts have been profoundly honored at Mahindra Satyam Computers as I am bestowed with the responsibility of Creative Head and Heading the Graphic Asset Management team for e-Learning division.
